Kingsport Maker Faire Call for Makers is now OPEN!

2015 marks the 4th year for the Kingsport Mini-Maker Faire. We have changed the date to allow more outdoor space and accommodated more outside exhibits.  MAKE a date to come and exhibit on Saturday July 18, 2015. Last year we had our first Nerdy Derby and 3-D printers were all the rage. more than 1000 people came to see your exhibits.

Am I a MAKER? you are if you MAKE something – you might call yourself a hobbyist, tinkerer, student. You enjoy the Do-It-Yourself attitude and the creativity of a hands-on project. Come and show how you make what you make. Share your talent, skill, knowledge with the public and your fellow makers.

You may be an entrepreneur with a great idea – come share your innovation.

We love artists too – whether you are Plein air painter, tattoo designer or   a wood carver , etc., you are welcome.

What is a Maker Faire?

Maker Faires are all about showcasing YOUR projects, inventions, skills, ideas, and art. It’s Show and Tell for creative people. If you would like to share your project or your talents with the community then consider exhibiting with us in Kingsport TN. Our faire is held during an annual community festival ( and there are plenty of reasons, (hot air balloons, concerts, fireworks) to join our activities and bring the family.

We encourage exhibits that are interactive and that highlight the process of making things. Here are just some examples of projects we’d like to see:

Fees? Nope, nada, no way Jose – free to exhibit – free to attend. However. solely commercial exhibitors will be considered on a case by case basis and a fee charged.
